Travel Respiratory Therapist

Days, 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM, rotating schedule.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy and ventilator management, ensuring proper patient response and safety. The candidate will conduct patient assessments, monitor responses to treatments, perform and document Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) punctures, and manage ventilator settings while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer appropriate respiratory therapies to patients.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitors related responses.
• Perform and document ABG punctures accurately.
• Follow established respiratory protocols and safety guidelines.
• Manage ventilator settings and maintain airways for optimal patient care.
• Assist in both invasive and non-invasive procedures when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, RRT, and NM licensure required.
• Pediatric and neonate experience is mandatory.
• Must be willing to obtain NRP certification before or immediately after start.
