Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a 32-bed unit primarily serving an adult and older adult population. You will be responsible for the care of trauma patients, administering heparin drips, and managing all prescribed acute medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to trauma patients.
• Administer heparin drips and monitor their effects.
• Manage and document all acute medications as ordered.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort using specialty equipment such as gait belts and geriatric chairs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in the skilled nursing and rehab settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have documented medical/surgical and telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Prior NICHE training is a plus.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
