Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week.

Job Description

Join our dedicated education unit where you will provide high-quality care to mixed Med/Surg patients. This role involves caring for patients in a 30-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1. The focus of this position is on delivering excellent patient care; travel nurses will not be responsible for educating staff.

Responsibilities

• Caring for diverse Med/Surg patients
• Monitoring and managing patient health needs
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintaining a positive attitude and timely communication with the healthcare team

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing
• Experience in a level 1 trauma center or mid-large hospital
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred
