Nuclear Medicine Technologist - 13 Week Contract

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours per week, from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, and VQ scans, while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. This role involves using specialized GE equipment and maintaining accurate records and patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret nuclear medicine studies.
• Perform high scan load procedures on both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards for radioactive materials.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals for patient care and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Must possess ARRT Nuclear (ARRT N) and Radiography (ARRT R) certifications.
• NMTCB certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
• State licensure is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
