Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours (07:30 - 16:00)

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a variety of nuclear stress tests and other specialized procedures within a high scan load environment for both outpatients and inpatients. The candidate will utilize GE equipment and support patient care through imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and ameloid studies.
• Maintain safety protocols related to the handling of radioactive materials.
• Participate in patient care and interaction, ensuring the highest standards of service.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive documentation of procedures and patient interactions.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating procedures within the department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT N, ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB certifications, and relevant state licensure required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
