Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele

Schedule

Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, no on-call requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a fast-paced Med Surg Tele unit. This role involves optimizing post-surgical patient care in accordance with surgeon preferences while collaborating within a great team atmosphere. The unit operates with established order sets and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to a diverse patient population in a medical-surgical tele unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize EMR systems effectively, preferably Cerner.
• Assist in post-surgical care, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Indiana.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of Med Surg Tele experience preferred.
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
