Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

This is a 13-week contract position with day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, rotating every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health and substance use disorders. You will work within a supportive team, utilizing your skills and experience to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Participate in therapeutic group activities and interventions.
• Assess patient conditions and document care effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and CPR certifications.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred.
• BSN preferred, along with ED or ICU experience.
