Schedule

Days, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday per month and holidays required.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will facilitate the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons, maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, planning and implementing age-appropriate treatment programs, participating in discharge planning, attending care plan meetings, and fulfilling administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement and modify treatment programs as needed.
• Participate in discharge planning and care plan meetings.
• Perform administrative duties and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Pursue professional growth and development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of Occupational Therapy experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Current NM state licensure is required.
• Acute care experience is mandatory.
