7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour night shifts with a guarantee of 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for identifying medical issues, determining severity, and providing immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects for patients admitted to the emergency room. As one of the first responders, the ER nurse will deliver critical care during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify their medical conditions and stability.
• Provide immediate care and support to sustain life and minimize health deterioration.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care and update medical records accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (required).
• Recent traveling nurse experience (preferred).
• Current Oklahoma State License or compact.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA), NIHSS certification required; TNCC preferred.
• Two supervisory reference forms taken within the last two years.
• Skills checklist pertinent to the specialty, current within 1 year.
