Nights 7 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge and hands-on experience in a Level 1 Trauma emergency room setting. This position requires the ability to handle high-pressure situations and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency department.
• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, response to interventions, and changes in condition.
• Assist in managing critical care situations, including trauma responses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of ER RN experience, with at least 2 years in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Current New Jersey RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification is preferred.
