This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 12-hour shifts per week with rotations of either 06:00 - 18:30 or 08:00 - 20:30. Weekend coverage required every third week.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The candidate will be responsible for patient safety, comfort, and conducting appropriate patient screenings prior to imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans while adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Maintain and manage imaging equipment as per standards.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of patient records and charting.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patients during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required.
• Active ARRT MR* and ARRT R certifications required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania or Compact license.
