MRI Technologist

Schedule

This position requires working five nights a week, from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday night through Saturday morning. No call or holidays are required, though on-call duties may be possible.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients according to established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for the MRI process.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment correctly to obtain optimal image quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss results and imaging needs.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a level 1 trauma hospital.
• Experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T (Aera/Sola/Skyra/Vida) and Philips MRI systems.
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
