Operating Room Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 10:50 AM to 11:20 PM.

Job Description

The position requires a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in operating room nursing and be prepared to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing skills to assess patient needs and establish appropriate care plans.
• Assist in surgery preparations and provide intra-operative support.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and intervene as necessary.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation of procedures.
• Provide post-operative care and education to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent Operating Room experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from approved vendors.
• Active nursing license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
