Job Description

The First Assist/OR RN will assist the physician with procedures in the operating room. This role includes supporting the surgical team by ensuring the operating room is prepared, clean, and functioning effectively before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician with surgical procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sterile operating environment.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other surgical team members.
• Follow protocols to ensure patient safety and efficient surgical operations.

Required Experience / Certifications

• 2+ years of experience in a surgical setting.
• First Assist Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
