Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday per department rotation. No call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician's orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the clinical team.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an Emergency Department preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems, specifically Epic, is preferred.
