Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to handle a variety of critical situations and provide high-quality care to our diverse patient demographic, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs
• Handle emergency situations involving stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac arrest
• Utilize advanced specialty equipment, including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Assist in triage and prioritization of patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to safety and procedural protocols at all times

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience
• Experience in pediatrics is preferred
• Current NY RN license
• AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required
• Documentation of travel experience required
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
