Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The successful candidate will float between units and provide exceptional respiratory care, including floor care, emergency response, and rapid assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerosol setup and management, including tracheostomy care and advanced ventilation techniques.
• Administer medications such as Albuterol, Atrovent, and Flovent via various delivery methods.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and respond to emergency situations in the ER and rapid response scenarios.
• Provide pulmonary hygiene and manage high-pressure alarms while troubleshooting equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Washington state RN license or compact RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with pediatric patients and trauma care preferred.
