Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The candidate will be responsible for performing patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and prevention of illness.
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of ER RN experience required.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
• ATCN or TNCC certification required.
• Flu shot required.
