This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.

Job Description

The Travel ICU RN will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. The role requires floating to Telemetry units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in an ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' condition, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care and patient progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of ICU experience required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Open heart surgery experience preferred.
• Impella experience preferred.
