Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a 20-bed unit. The role includes floating to telemetry as needed, ensuring top-quality nursing care to patients experiencing severe health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical records system (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of ICU experience required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Experience with open heart surgery and Impella devices preferred.
