Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Days, 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM. Weekend hours required every 4th weekend.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role will focus on the assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions to enhance patient functionality and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EHR (EPIC).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Certification in CPR.
