MRI Technologist - 13-week Contract Position

Schedule

Day shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM. Specific days include Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, and Saturday/Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will operate advanced MRI equipment and computer systems to produce high-quality imaging in a hospital setting. This role requires excellent interpersonal communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential patient information.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and operate MRI equipment safely and effectively.
• Provide quality patient care and support during imaging procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality diagnostic services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT).
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
• Preferred 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (RT), Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
• License required from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) as a licensed practitioner of MRI (temporary license accepted).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
