LPN - Full Time Position

Must be able to start on a Tuesday or Thursday for full shift orientation. Full-time Day and Evening shifts available.

Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will perform direct and indirect resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel. This role requires a commitment to meeting the individualized needs of residents and providing a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents’ Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per the care plan, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, promptly responding to call lights and alarms, using safety equipment, and ensuring cleanliness of the unit.
• Assist with residents’ nutritional needs, including meal delivery, tray preparation, and feeding.
• Support residents’ rehabilitation needs in accordance with the care plan by assisting with exercises, ambulation, and proper body alignment.
• Report residents' rights, refusals, concerns, and changes in physical or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY LPN Licensure
• BLS Certification (AHA or RQI only)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN, preferably in long-term care or as a CNA.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
