Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction. This role involves ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective return to community activities, while also serving as an educator for patients, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in student programs by providing supervision and evaluation.
• Create individualized professional development plans and pursue ongoing education.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Actively engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
