Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a contract position in a rehabilitation setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability. Your expertise will help patients achieve their long-term health goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and health management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Schedule

This position is a day shift role, with hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You will be required to float as necessary, with no call requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• 2 years of experience in physical therapy.
• Experience with EMR Medhost is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
