RN - Stepdown Unit Night Shift

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical care and may float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and ECG readings.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in a Stepdown or similar setting.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State License required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Travel experience will be accepted.
