Registered Nurse - Stepdown Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are 3x12 hours with rotating days and nights: 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.

Job Description

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Stepdown Unit. The role may require floating to other units to care for similar patient populations when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a stepdown environment.
• Monitor patient progress and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care management.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and participate in orientation competency assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of combined permanent nursing experience in Stepdown or similar specialty is required.
• Active Ohio license or Compact State license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
