Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, floating required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment that requires floating to the Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) departments. The role involves providing comprehensive care to ICU patients, including the management of ventilators and titratable drips, as well as assisting with patient hygiene and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for ICU patients.
• Assist with ventilators and titratable drips.
• Help with patient hygiene and daily living activities.
• Float to ER and Med Surg departments as required.
• Support nursing staff in Med Surg with a full patient assignment or act as an aide.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in ICU nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in ER and Med Surg preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience with patients on ventilators and administering titratable drips.
• All travelers must undergo a fingerprinting process prior to starting the assignment.
