Schedule

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday; some procedures may run until 4:30 PM EST. No on-call or weekend shifts required.

Job Description

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in cardiac imaging, you will perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies, ensuring high standards of precision and patient care. You will acquire and process diagnostic images while adhering to safety regulations and quality control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures and maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Acquire and process diagnostic images, ensuring compliance with safety and quality control standards.
• Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience.
• NYS Rad Tech License.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
