Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 8-hour shifts, scheduled 40 hours weekly following the first week of orientation.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation, nuclear imaging, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and performance of nuclear medicine imaging.
• Conduct EKG preparations and monitor patients for cardiac examinations.
• Receive and document radioactive shipments in compliance with NRC regulations.
• Perform daily and weekly quality control (Q.C.) checks on equipment.
• Utilize advanced imaging technology including SIEMENS Dual Headed ECAM with ESOFT Processing, CAPTUS 3000NMIS, and GE MAC 5000.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, must be AHA certified.
• Candidate must obtain an active Hawaii License prior to starting the assignment.
