Job Description

The X-ray Tech will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience working with level 1 trauma hospitals and be proficient in EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure the safety of patients and staff by adhering to radiation safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging files effectively.
• Assist in maintaining imaging equipment and reporting malfunctions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of current X-Ray experience.
• Active New York State license (NYS) and ARRT (R) certification.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Health Association.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required.
