Day shift, 3x12-Hour (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM); every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills in a telemetry setting and possess the ability to manage patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to any changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or medical/surgical setting.
• SC RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Tele competency required, with previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience in a community hospital setting is preferred.
