Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN to provide high-quality patient care on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The role requires the ability to float to various units as needed. The nurse will work on rotating shifts and must possess a compassionate attitude towards patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG rhythms
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty
• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience (travel experience acceptable)
• Current Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at the time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to work every other holiday
