LPN - Long Term Care

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality long-term care for elderly residents. The LPN will play a vital role in a supportive environment, catering to the daily medical and personal needs of residents while ensuring their dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor residents' health status.
• Oversee the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA).
• Perform wound care and address the immediate health needs of geriatric residents.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current LPN license in New York State.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting.

Schedule

This position is a 3x12.0 shift schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.
