Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) rotating shifts.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide essential patient care within the Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit, with the potential to float to other units as necessary. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
• Document all aspects of patient care in adherence with healthcare standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license or Compact State License.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
