Registered Nurse - Acute GI Med Unit

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 1900 to 0730, varying as necessary.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Acute GI Med Unit. This nursing role is essential for providing high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal medical conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the medical team.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience in a medical/surgical or acute care setting preferred.
