Assignment Duration

This is a 10-week contract position.

Schedule

The schedule includes 4 x 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 48 hours. Call is required for 12 hours every three weeks, which can be split into 4-hour increments. If called in, you must be present within 1 hour of the call time. Weekend shifts are expected every other weekend.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing labor and delivery. This role involves caring for high-risk births, circulating cesarean sections, and monitoring patients via telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor progression and fetal health.
• Support patients through labor and delivery.
• Circulate in cesarean section procedures.
• Provide postoperative care and support for patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure with experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Expertise in high-risk births.
• Telemetry experience.
• Must be able to circulate cesarean sections.
