Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Night Shift

Nights (1900-0730), rotating weekends

Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides direct care for acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems. The ICU offers advanced knowledge and extensive experience in a setting that supports intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient vitals and utilize advanced assessment techniques.
• Manage medical emergencies and perform life-saving interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS and TNCC certifications required for GSR ICU-CCU.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Previous ICU experience preferred.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
