Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The RN will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced, critical environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the SICU setting.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions closely, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Perform procedures including chest tube insertion and management of central lines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience.
• Valid RN license.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Previous travel experience in large trauma facilities is preferred.
