Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Progressive Care

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit. The primary patient population will include those recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, such as open heart, thoracic lung surgeries, and other acute conditions requiring intensive nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for cardiovascular surgery and vascular surgery patients.
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including those with heart failure and other complex conditions.
• Perform clinical tasks including IV management, epidural care, chest tube management, and cardiac medication administration.
• Work collaboratively in a team-based environment to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in stepdown and telemetry nursing is a must.
• Preferred experience with cardiovascular and vascular surgical populations within the past year.
