Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neuro and spinal assessments.
• Administer medications and IV infusions per established protocols.
• Assist with the placement of C-Collars, TLSO braces, and feeding tubes.
• Monitor and manage chest tubes and PCA pumps.
• Perform blood transfusions as required.
• Provide patient and family education regarding care plans.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care is essential.
