PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care based on the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in care planning.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities effectively based on staff qualifications.
• Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including prior travel experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.

Schedule

This position requires availability for night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
