Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with diverse medical needs. This role involves assessing and implementing care for geriatric patients and those requiring rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will work within a collaborative team environment to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Perform wound care and other advanced nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Cerner documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
• Experience in caring for geriatric or inpatient rehab patients preferred.
