Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description

The Medical/Surgical RN is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care consistent with Maine State Standards. This position requires excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills. The RN must be able to function independently and act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-family centered care in a medical/surgical setting.
• Conduct thorough assessments and create care plans based on patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Document patient care and treatment in compliance with standards.
• Handle emergency situations with efficiency and professionalism.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Maine.
• Relevant clinical experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and support organizational values.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule.
