Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week (3 - 12 hour shifts).

Job Description

Our fantastic team in Medical Surgical Care is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to join their team for the night shift. This role does not require call and will involve working every other weekend. Preference will be given to candidates with telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical surgical patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer appropriate medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress and changes in health status.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the State of Maine.
• ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required.
• Previous medical surgical experience is mandatory.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
