Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3x12s)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is accountable for providing high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Room by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills and scientific judgment while leading efforts to ensure the safe delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in planning and delivering patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the staff's education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Current Arizona RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are required.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
