Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled with a minimum guarantee of 24 hours. Banner is allowed to cancel 1 shift.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a short-term assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding of critical care nursing, exhibiting a strong ability to assess and manage complex clinical situations. Flexibility regarding location, shifts, and departments will enhance employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and modify care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months ICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC).
• No disciplinary actions or hits on the state license to practice.
• Valid driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
