Interim Emergency Services Manager

Job Description

The Interim Emergency Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the emergency services department, ensuring quality patient care, and managing staff effectively. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to maintain a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the emergency department.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage and support nursing staff, providing mentorship as needed.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitor patient flow and staffing levels to optimize efficiency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of five years of experience in emergency services.
• At least two years of management experience.
• Active California RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• TB clearance completed within the last 12 months.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
