7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, must work weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Observation Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical and surgical care, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adult patients in an observation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in the observation unit.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Float to Medical/Cardiac/Neuro-Ortho units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale Competency certifications required.
• Telemetry/ECG competency required.
• Optional: TNCC, ENPC certifications.
