Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Night Shift

Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient care skills and the ability to handle a high patient load effectively. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and activate rapid response teams as needed.
• Document care accurately using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a Med Surg setting.
• BLS Certification is required; CPI certification is preferred.
• Experience with blood product administration, central line care, and wound management.
• Ability to float to similar units as required.
